Liz Park/Sam Martyn

This night at The Beggar's Folk Club we are please to announce  a double bill, featuring 2 local talented and diverse artistes

Liz Park is a familiar figure  in the local  folk
and jazz scene for her vocal performances
both accompanied on piano, and accompanying
herself with the ukulele. Balancing this with a
busy day job, her eclectic repertoire of songs
including jazz, blues, folk, early music and
music hall have a wide appeal to audiences
young and old alike. A regular performer at
Keyingham Folk and Music Hall Club, she is
being included in their forthcoming CD.’’

Sam is a folk singer and musician from Hull. I've been singing at the (Not) The White Horse Folk Club in Beverley for a few years now and I'm also a member of Hull folk band Beggar's Bridge. I play piano, low and high whistle, and harmonium. Influences include June Tabor (quite simply a heroine of mine) and Eliza Carthy. And I LOVE Bellowhead with a passion.night is a double bill showcasing 2 local talented and diverse artistes.
